These terms apply to the apps published by Hornbill Games (“we”, “us”), the browser games on hornbillgames.com, and this website (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Using our games
- Our games are free to download and play. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own non-commercial entertainment.
- Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the apps or their content, or use them to build competing products, except where the law allows it.
- Do not use cheats, bots or exploits that harm the Services or other players (for example in local Wi-Fi games).
2. Ads and rewards
The Services are supported by ads served by Google AdMob. Rewards such as hints, continues or bonus items from a rewarded ad have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money and may change between versions. No game involves real money, and nothing won in a game can be exchanged for anything outside it.
3. Children
Our general-audience games are intended for players aged 13 and over. Our kids learning apps are designed for young children to use with a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on the child’s behalf.
4. Third-party services
Some features rely on other companies’ services, such as Google Play, Google AdMob, Lichess (optional online chess) and Formspree (website forms). Their own terms and privacy policies apply to those services.
5. Your content and feedback
If you send us ideas, bug reports or other feedback, you allow us to use them to improve our games without owing you anything. We will never publish your personal details without asking.
6. Intellectual property
The games, their names, characters, art, music, code and this website are owned by Hornbill Games or our licensors. “Hornbill Games”, “Funzoo” and the hornbill logo are our brands. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the games fun and bug-free, but the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We may update, change or remove games, features or these terms at any time. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms; the effective date above shows the latest version.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hornbill Games is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of game progress stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in the country where you live.
